Libya's Olympic leader abducted

(CNN) -- The president of the Libyan Olympic Committee was kidnapped, the committee stated Monday.

Ahmad Nabil al-Alam was taken in valuable Tripoli on Sunday, the group said.

He was adopted by automobiles after which seized by unidentified gunmen round four p.m., the committee said.
