Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are able to finish their five-year marriage -- and days prior to they made their stunning divorce statement to the world, they had been lots of miles apart.
On Wednesday, Cruise, 49, was arduous at paintings in Iceland for his new sci-fi film, Oblivion. Capturing scenes on what gave the impression to be the skin of a volcano, Cruise donned a silver spacesuit and carried a futuristic laser gun.

That similar day, Holmes, 33, meanwhile, was in Ny city with their daughter Suri, 6; having a look fatigued, the actress and type maven stored informal in a t-shirt, denims and inexperienced trench-coat.

On Friday, simply days later, Holmes' lawyer Jonathan Wolfe showed Cruise and Holmes' plans to divorce, telling Us Weekly: "Katie's number one fear remains, because it all the time has been, her daughter's very best pastime. It is a non-public and personal topic for Katie and her family."
Holmes reportedly visited Cruise (with Suri in tow) in Iceland in advance this month.
