Joy Williams, one-half of the band The Civil Wars, welcomed her first kid -- a boy named Miles Alexander -- Saturday in Nashville.

"Now I TRULY recognize what love in the beginning sight manner after assembly my son, Miles Alexander. Born yesterday, all satisfied and healthy," Williams, 29, showed by way of Twitter Sunday.
