OAKLAND -- Government are investigating the reason for a one-alarm hearth at a two-story condo development early Saturday morning, an Oakland fireplace professional said.

No accidents had been reported.

Firefighters answered to a ONE HUNDRED FORTY: a.m. name from a passer-by who spotted smoke coming from a development within the 1800 block of Rosedale Road close to East 18th Street, stated Battalion Leader Lisa Baker.

Firefighters used three engines to get the blaze below regulate in approximately 15 minutes, Baker said.

The hearth it sounds as if began at the building's 2d floor, she said.

No one lives in the house and no accidents have been reported.

The hearth led to approximately $80,000 in damage, she said.

The hearth is beneath research however didn't seem to be suspicious, Baker said.
